Top 75 Fine Art Photography
Mother and Child, Nikon D7000, Tamron 150-600, 400 ISO
I'm not one to toot my own horn - at least I hope not - but I was just notified that Visual Notebook came in #9 in the 75 Top Fine Art Photography blogs by Feedspot. I've looked over Feedspot in the past and the photography blogs listed are outstanding. That I'm in the company of these fine artists is an honor indeed.
For a while now I had contemplated discontinuing Visual Notebook, though it's always been a labor of love for me, simply because I felt like it wasn't really being read anymore and because I also had felt my ideas for subjects was dwindling. One could effect the other I guess - more readers would give me more impetus to find more subjects. Or maybe I'm just getting to the spot in my life where I'm so visually oriented that my first passion (writing), is simply disappearing. I suspect the latter has much to do with it. The world has become more visual, I don't think there's a lot of argument there.
At any rate - Visual Notebook's not going anywhere for now. Hiatus is over. I feel rejuvenated that there are folks reading and looking, so there's only one resolution:
