Bison #5Bison #5Bison #5

Here's another image from my Bison series, which are images captured at Rocky Mountain Arsenal several years ago.  As you can see, I've tweaked it just a tiny tiny bit.  ;-)  Actually, this is another of those images that I wrestled with internally as to what look I wanted.  In the end, just a little canvas texture and a couple of layered in backgrounds, plus some clarity, color, contrast and sharpening here and there and that's it.  As I mentioned a few posts ago, sometimes you just have to keep it simple.

On a personal note, I was recently laid off from my job (dammit - it was a great job too!), so for the short term at least, I hope to be able to spend more time on my artwork.  Translation, you may see more art from me more quickly than usual.  That is, unless I get another position, which, at my age, may prove challenging, especially in the IT field.

As usual, I appreciate all the support I've received from everyone.  Please share this post with friends, family and anyone else who may be interested.

I'm hoping to do just that, Tom. Thanks!

Speaking from experience with layoffs, take advantage of the time as best you can. It's been 8 years since I was laid off, and fortunately it only lasted 9 months. But I took advantage and used it wisely, and did some of my best ever photography.

Thanks, Monte. I'll try to make lemonade!

Sorry to hear that, John. Hope everything works for you and go ahead and create more work.
