There are two things I love to photograph - barns and old vehicles. This lovely old barn is located near Perry Park south of Denver. I cropped this image and then added a bit of a glow to it and removed an annoying fence post. After that I was going to add some texturing and while I experimented a bit I couldn't improve on the way the shot looked after the minor adjustments I mentioned.
Sometimes less is more as they say and this is one of those times.
On another note, I'm slowly getting my thoughts together on my newsletter and already have one subscriber (you know who you are!). Look for an announcement soon on this. I plan to have things such as "Lightroom Lessons" or "Finessing Photoshop" along with information on upcoming shows, new work and maybe a bit of industry news. If you have ideas of content you might want to see, such as "favorite artists", other than me of course ;-), reader images, things like that, please let me know. I'd like to get this off the ground before the show season starts!
If you'd like to get a jump on subscribing please go to my Contact page and send a message - simply place "Subscribe" on the subject line. I'll get something a bit more elegant in place before long.
