Timeless, Cherokee Ranch
Just a quick post today. This is the castle at Cherokee Ranch south of the metro area. I wanted to give it a look that could be interpreted a couple of ways - Timeless as in it'll always be there, or "that's a timeless" look for the ranch, or that time will, inevitably win out, and is always closing in.
Honestly, it's the latter explanation that I was thinking of when I was working on the image. The older you get, the more you understand that there is no escape from time and each day becomes more important to you.
Right now, I'm watching the snow falling outside my office window, listening to Claire de Lune while I write this post. Shortly I'll have some lunch, then work on another image. It becomes, to use an overused word, precious, even the mundane, day-to-day events. Better they're there than you're not!
